Laser operations
Hyperopia
Hyperopia is a visual defect caused by an eye that is too short or too flat, making vision blurred at close range and, in some cases, both near and far.
- Symptoms: visual fatigue and headaches
Correction of hyperopia
The laser
Laser correction of hyperopia involves curving the central part of the cornea so that the image of an object can be re-formed on the retina (point of sharpness). Astigmatism can be corrected in the same operation.
All laser operations are performed at the Azur Vision Ophthalmological Center.
- Very quick, painless operation
- Visual recovery the day after surgery
